Vamp glam

Hello everyone! I did a few shoots last week for you guys. A lady from church who is a MUA  wanted to do my make-up for her portfolio. She is very kind for also allowing me to do some outfits for my blog.

For this look she went for a vamp glam, which contains very dark colours. You guys know I always do my make up the same, infact very simple. So this was a huge change for me. At first I wasn't sure I liked it but toward the end I grew to like it. I actually plan on buying this lipstick.

In terms of the outfit, I went for something simple with a je ne sais quoi as the French would say. I really liked the contrast. Some may say dark red is more of a autumn/winter colour. However, it's not always sunny in London  so dark colours are still relevant

Sky Garden

So I've decided I want to explore more places in London. I feel like I live in the city but I don't visit many places. During the week  my colleague and I headed to sky garden for lunch. Prior to this, I heard it was amazing so I wanted to witness it for myself. I believe Sky Garden is on the 38th floor on 20 Fenchchurch street.  Offering a spectacular view of across the city of London. We arrived  in via the express lift to a beautiful landscapes garden with a viewing area, terrace, cafe, bar and restaurant.

Sky garden allowed me to see London in a different view. Facing right at the shards, London Bridge and Saint Paul's. It's an incridible view, in fact breath taking and great for pictures. I had such an amazing time.

It's actually free entry for this month only. So if you want to go just for the view now is the perfect timing. Tickets have to be reserved online and you must bring ID. I must say it's expensive to eat there.  I only ordered sandwich and a drink which came up to £9.

All Black Everything

Hello beautiful people! Hope you are having a lovely weekend. Certainly I'm enjoying mine with family. Earlier on today  I headed to church, so I decided to take a few shots for you guys.

On my previous posts I've mentioned that since I've changed jobs my wardrobe has become a lot more darker than usual. I have to wear black to work, therefore I tend to buy more things in black now. Today I went for all black everything with a hint of colour. You guys already know I love simplicity with a touch of elegance.

I opted for a long sleeve lace top, long black waistcoat, black jeans and finished the look with nude heels. To accessories I added a black chained bag and and on my wrist I wore a gold watch with a single large pearl bangle.

( Pictures were taken with an iPhone. I apologies for the poor quality)

I hope you like it :)

Cocktails at Sushi Samba

Over the bank holiday weekend I went for drinks with work colleagues at sushi Samba in Heron tower. I decided to step out of my black work uniform and glam myself up a little bit.

Everyone that knows me know that I love a good view, and this place is perfect for that. I'm really scared of heights and It being on the 35th floor is scary. However, I actually enjoyed the adrenaline feeling of being so high,  once I got up there the view was too perfect.
I've never actually eaten from here before, but the cocktails are amazing. So I can only imagine how tasty the food must be. I do plan on returning for dinner next time.

Here are pictures from the night:

The girls and I had so much fun and we plan on returning to sushi samba for another night out.

Khaki Easter

Happy Easter my lovely people! I hope you are enjoying your Easter weekend. I attended church today for a special Easter service.

My outfit is very simple and chic, I wanted something comfortable. I've been wearing black a lot lately because of my job, and I've noticed every time I go out I tend to wear all black as well. I wanted some colour so I went for khaki, grey and black.
